About Bwatoo
Bwatoo is a classifieds and commerce marketplace for the whole of Africa. You can sell and buy anything there: cars, homes, phones, fashion, services, local products.
Our promise
- You pay on delivery. Money only changes hands when the buyer is holding the item. Bwatoo never holds your money.
- No phone number is ever shown. Buyers and sellers talk inside Bwatoo. Your phone stays private.
- Everything goes through the app. Messages, offers, delivery and reviews are all recorded, so a disagreement can be settled if needed.
Countries and languages
Bwatoo opens country by country: Cรดte d'Ivoire, Gabon, DR Congo, Ghana, Cameroon and Senegal at launch. Each country has its own address (for example gh.bwatoo.com), its currency and its listings. The site speaks French, English, Arabic, Portuguese, Swahili, Lingala and Wolof.
What Bwatoo sells
Bwatoo earns its living from its services: visibility options for a listing, and Pro and Business subscriptions for professionals. Bwatoo takes no commission on your sales.
Delivery
Delivery is handled by a partner platform with verified independent couriers. You choose your courier by price, delivery time and rating.
